Absolutely incredible experience here at Akira. Came on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed! Both sides (regular and hibachi). Our server was so sweet and was so fun with our son. The place is loud so our son fit in just nicely. Food is absolutely incredible!! The little slivers of ginger were the best I’ve ever had. I just wish it was the coarse sea salt on the edamame instead of table salt. Will be back 100%.

Such a great experience, we went for lunch. It was our first time here and it did not disappoint. The sushi was fresh and the california roll with the mango was my favorite. My boyfriend said it was the best Kani salad he’s had. He also had the hibachi and said it was great. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Walk through the entrance and the tone is set immediately. A serene Buddha statue with softly flowing water and a goldfish pond greets you with calm before you’ve even been seated. The lighting inside carries that same peaceful energy throughout. Sarah, our server, was quick, warm, and gracious from start to finish. Exactly the kind of attentive presence that elevates a meal. The space itself is expansive and ideal for groups or celebrations. Separate banquet halls and a live sushi station give it real versatility, while the overall atmosphere stays relaxed and inviting rather than loud or rushed. The food delivers. Fresh, flavorful, and served with impressive speed. The bento lunchbox is a standout: soup, salad, and a well-curated special, all at a price that is genuinely reasonable. No compromises on quality for what you pay. Akira earns your return visit on both counts: service that makes you feel looked after, and food that gives you no reason to look elsewhere. A wonderful spot to unwind, dine well, and linger a little longer than planned.

Lunch on Tuesday was absolutely through the roof. I had the pleasure of enjoying great company as we dined at Akira in Voorhees, New Jersey, for an unforgettable Japanese cuisine experience. From the moment we walked in, it was a full sensory production. The presentation alone was a show. Watching the chefs bring the meal to life right in front of us, with the fire, precision, and signature flair, was nothing short of captivating. The food itself was exceptional. Every bite was tantalizing to the taste buds, soothing to the soul, and truly satisfying. The service elevated the experience even further. A special thank you to Diana and the entire team for delivering excellence with such intentionality and care. Here’s to creating more moments like this, sharing great food, great energy, and fully embracing the beauty of life while we have it.

Absolutely amazing Japanese restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, and the udon noodles were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the soup, which was comforting and delicious. Everything tasted authentic and high quality. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves real Japanese food! I’ll be back πŸ˜…
